HHS Child Development

We have five spots left...

The Hillsboro High School Family and Consumer Science Department will once again be offering the Child Development Preschool Program for children ages 3-to 5-years-old. We will be offering this two mornings a week, as a Parents Morning Out. High school students enrolled in the Advanced Child Development, Care, and Guidance classes will be studying children through observation and participation in this program.

The program will be offered on select Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting on Tuesday, March 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.
A one-time fee of $40.00 will be charged for the entire session. This fee will cover the costs of needed supplies for snacks, activities, and crafts. If you are interested in enrolling your child/children in this program, please fill out the application below and return it with a check* for $40.00 on or before Friday, March 3 to the following address:

Hillsboro High School
c/o Cyndi Heitert - FACS Dept.
123 Leon Hall Parkway
Hillsboro, MO 63050
* make check payable to: Hillsboro High School

Please plan to bring your child regularly as many people are interested in the program, and we would like to enroll those who will participate in the entire program.

More information will be emailed to you when applications are received. We will accept the first 10 completed applications we receive, so it is important to return the form and check as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at Hillsboro High School at 789-0000, ext. 1306, Monday - Friday from 7:15 a.m. - 11 a.m. We are looking forward to working with your child.

***Please note that in order for your child to be accepted they MUST be potty independent, no diapers or pull-ups permitted.
