The Jefferson County Health Department’s Smiles To Go Mobile Dental Van will be visiting Hillsboro School District in March. This program provides dental services to students from 3 years of age to 19 years of age. This program provides dental services to kids with or without insurance coverage.
The Smiles To Go Program started in 2005 and provides dental services in a state of the art 40-foot dental office on wheels. The Smiles To Go Dental Van is a custom built mobile dental office outfitted with dental chairs, dental equipment, and a full dental professional staff. The dental van has the capability of providing comprehensive dental care including examinations, digital X-rays, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, resin fillings, simple extractions, root canals, and dental education.
If you would like your child to take part in this dental program, please complete the registration form either online through this link (https://hipaa.jotform.com/92415188437160) or return a paper copy to the school nurse no later than February 26, 2020. The required paperwork must be completed for your child to be seen and receive dental services.
This program accepts Missouri Medicaid, most private insurances, and uninsured patients. If your child does not have private insurance or Missouri Medicaid, the cost of the appointment is $75 (cash or check payable to the Jefferson County Health Department). Payment is required at the time the registration paperwork is returned.
