The Hillsboro R-III School District has begun the search for its next superintendent, and the Board of Education is asking the community to be part of the process.
Parents, employees, students, taxpayers and community members are encouraged to complete the Superintendent Search Community Survey and share what they believe should matter most in the district’s next leader.
What qualities should the next superintendent have? What kind of experience is most important? What priorities should guide the person selected to lead Hillsboro R-III into the future?
The Board has partnered with the Missouri School Boards’ Association (MSBA) to assist with the superintendent search. Community feedback will be an important part of that process.
The survey is anonymous and will remain open through September 13. Once the survey closes, responses will be compiled into a summary report and shared with the Board of Education to help inform its decision-making.
Choosing the district’s next superintendent is an important decision for the future of Hillsboro R-III, and the Board wants to hear from the people who know and care about the district most.
