Dr. Freeman has been with the Hillsboro R-3 School District for 28 years.  She became the principal of Hillsboro Primary in July of 2020. Prior to joining the Primary staff, she was the high school principal, a high school assistant principal and Director of the Learning Center.  Before moving into administration, Dr. Freeman was an elementary teacher and cheer coach. 

Dr. Freeman earned her doctoral degree in Educational Administration from Maryville University in 2013. Dr. Freeman enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
