Superintendent Search Community Forum

The search for Hillsboro R-3’s next superintendent is underway, and the community has an important role in the process.

Parents, students and community members are invited to a Superintendent Search Community Forum on Monday, Sept. 28th, from 6-7 p.m. in the Board of Education Room at Hillsboro Intermediate School.

The conversation will focus on a straightforward question: What should Hillsboro R-3 be looking for in its next superintendent?

Representatives from the Missouri School Boards’ Association and its search consultant will share results from the community survey. They will also listen to feedback from those attending the forum.

What leadership qualities are most important? What experience should the next superintendent bring to Hillsboro R-3? What characteristics would make a candidate a good fit for the district and community?

Those are some of the questions that will guide the discussion.

The feedback gathered through the survey and community forum will help identify the qualities and characteristics the community values as the superintendent search moves forward.

No registration is required.

Come ready to listen, share your ideas and be part of the conversation about the future leadership of Hillsboro R-3.
