Located just 35 miles south of downtown St. Louis, Hillsboro R-3 School District is dedicated to providing a comprehensive educational program that addresses the diverse needs of all children in the district.
Our district includes one high school (grades 9-12), an Alternative Learning Program (grades 9-12), a junior high school (grades 7-8), an intermediate school (grades 4-6), an elementary school (grades 2-3), and a primary school (grades K-1).
Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, the district will introduce an Early Childhood program to the primary school.
Education is a partnership among students, staff, parents, guardians, community members, business leaders, and our local legislators.
