Before students head out the door for Summer School, here are a few important transportation reminders families need to know. Hillsboro R-3 Summer School bus routes are now available, and parents are encouraged to carefully review their student’s route information before the first day of classes on Thursday, May 28th.
A letter from the District can be found at this link.

Here are 4 important things families should know before Summer School begins:
🔹 Pre-K through 12th grade students will ride together during Summer School.
🔹 Students who ride to more than one location should make sure their teacher is aware of their transportation schedule so they are placed on the correct route.
🔹 Pre-K through 2nd grade students must be met at the afternoon bus stop by a parent, guardian, or older sibling.
🔹 Families are encouraged to download the My Ride K-12 app, which provides estimated bus arrival times, route alerts, and transportation updates in real time.
District officials also remind families that routes and pickup times may shift throughout the summer as student ridership changes. The first few days may include minor delays as students get adjusted to loading procedures, especially at the Elementary building. Families with students assigned to a minibus will be contacted directly by the driver regarding pickup and drop-off information.
